Our Story
It started with my mom.
My mom was never a gym person. But watching her own mother, my grandmother, find movement harder with age made her think differently about what she wanted ageing to look like. She wanted to stay capable, independent, and age on her own terms.
After years of me asking, she finally came to the gym with me. Just once. Then again. And again.
Eventually, my “Do you want to come with me?” became her “What time are we going?”She started liking how it made her feel. Stronger. More confident moving her body. Proud that even after a long day, she still showed up. And that confidence followed her outside the gym. Pilates with my sister. Pickleball with friends. Even convincing my dad to get off the couch and go for a run with her.
The more she believed in what her body could do, the more things she said yes to.Soon, the questions changed too. What should she eat before a run? Which foods had more protein? How much water should she actually be drinking? She grew up in a culture where taking pills usually meant you were sick. If you felt fine, why would you take anything? Fish oil started with her doctor. Magnesium was different. She read about it herself, tried it for sleep, felt it helped, and soon swore by it.
Little by little, she was learning to trust her own judgement. Then came creatine. I was already taking it. The idea made sense. Taking it didn’t. However we mixed the powder, she couldn’t get past the gritty texture. Capsules just meant more pills.
Then one day, she came to me excited. She’d found creatine gummies herself, recommended, of all things, by ChatGPT and Gemini. Usually, she was the one asking me the questions. This time, she had found something for us.
They tasted good. They were easy. Almost like a small reward after doing the harder part. So we started taking them together.
About a month later, I came across a video about independent lab testing on creatine gummies. One of the products tested looked very familiar.
The product sitting in our cupboard claimed 5 grams of creatine per serving.
Testing found less than 0.05 grams.
When I told my mom, she looked at the pack.
“But it says 5g on the back?”Then, after a moment.
“Sorry…”That stayed with me. She felt like she’d gotten it wrong because she was the one who found them. But she hadn’t.
She had trusted herself. Then she trusted the label. The label was what failed her. That became the reason for Daily Sync. I wanted to make the product she thought she had found in the first place. Something enjoyable enough to look forward to. Simple enough to keep taking. And with the creatine on the label actually inside it. For everyday people who want to keep moving, feel capable, and say yes to more.
Because if I wouldn’t give it to my own mom, I’ve got no business selling it to yours.
